Have A Complete NYC Tour
New York City is quite dissimilar from all the other cities of the world. It would not be much of a fallacy to say that it is the favorable city of the world in terms of lifestyle and tourism. People from all over the world harbor a desire to visit the city at least once in their lifetimes. Though people in NYC might of course contradict this statement! Well, what is it about the New York that is so appealing to everybody? Let us know some of the main attractions in the city that are bringing the tourists in.
Of course the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the mention of New York is the Statue of Liberty at the Harbor. This Statue, a gift from the French and made by the same architect (in part) who constructed the Eiffel Tower gives a wonderful welcome to the people who come in by ship. This is a national monument with a museum of its own at Ellis Island. The 305 feet high statue is indeed an icon of the city and a must-visit.
Another monument that everybody suddenly associates with the New York City is the Empire State Building. This tallest building in the city is now officially one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Tourists can enter the Observation Deck to get a panoramic view of the whole city. There are always serpentine queues to get to this area.
Who doesn't know Madame Tussauds? New York City has a very famous branch of this waxwork museum too, with a very interesting exterior faade of a metallic hand. Bob Marley, Louis Armstrong, Britney Spears, Brad Pitt, Charlie Chaplin, Benjamin Franklin, JFK, they are all there. People throng to see the wax replicas of the personalities they have heard about so much.
New York City does have options for sightseeing in many ways too. There is a New York Sky ride, which is a virtual helicopter tour of the city. Then you can cruise along the Hudson River and get a glimpse of the city. There are tour operators with branches all over the world that can show you the best of NYC with the greatest efficiency.
But it is true that NYC is always too crowded for tourists. There are long queues wherever and prices could be high. This is where things like the New York travel can help. The New York tourists helps you to sightseeing the whole city very conveniently and even pushes you ahead of the crowds. It is certainly a very good way to know a city that is always too busy for its tourists.
Sean has visited NYC more than once with the New York City Pass and he has had a pleasant experience every time. He speaks more about this Pass at the following link:http://www.new-york-pass.org
