Romantic Weekend Get Aways
Romantic Weekends Away From Home
You always hear about romantic weekends; whether in the movies or in TV shows, in novels or magazines, couples always get away together for romantic weekends. But your budget is probably tight and where would you go anyway?
If you are left clueless as to how to plan and enjoy romantic weekends, follow these ideas to help plan your trip and jumpstart your romance.
* Go to the movies and watch something new. Yes, this has been done over and over again, but it's a great idea. It's an escape from reality that lets you get immersed in a different world, and gives you an opportunity to share all of your opinions about it together. Try something new like a foreign movie or make a deal with each other to see the movie she wants one weekend and the one you want the next.
* Picnicking is a great way to get some quality romantic time together on the weekend. Pack up a lunch or a dinner and some drinks and make sure to bring a comfy blanket to lie on. Take in nature and enjoy the peaceful settings. If you can incorporate your picnic with the sunset, you can make it even more romantic.
* Try going someplace new and out of town. The new setting will enable the two of you to share a great experience together while you make sure to get plenty time away from errands, chores and routines. If you don't know where to go, just pack your bags and head to the road and go where you may!
* Cooking a romantic meal together is a great way to spend some quality time. Especially so if you're on a budget and can't afford to go out to pricy restaurants! Cook together and enjoy creating something with each other, or tell her to relax while you take care of all the work.
* While it's great to go to the movies, watching an enjoyable movie from the comfort of your home is always fun. Cuddle up with your partner and hold her tight as you watch a romantic classic or something new. Cook up some popcorn or a desert and enjoy sharing the moment with your wife.
* A candlelit dinner can always turn a boring weekend into a romantic weekend together. The great news is that it can be at a restaurant or at home, someplace new or your favorite neighborhood spot. You don't need a special occasion to enjoy a romantic dinner together.
* Take a walk on a beach together. Take of your shoes and get your toes in the sand and water. Look out into the ocean and enjoy the sunset or the moon. Hold hands and enjoy the peaceful serenity of where land meets water and the world changes.
* Amusement parks are a great way to have some fun on the weekend. Laughing, excitement and adrenaline all breed romance, lust and passion. And an amusement park gives you all three, so enjoy some thrilling rides and yummy snacks just like when you were teenagers.
As you can see there are plenty of ways to enjoy romantic weekends together. Whatever you do, make sure you spend some true quality time with each other. Laugh and relax, love and embrace, bring back all of those great, warm feelings that you used to have. And don't forget to take some great pictures. Not only do those preserve memories but they can sit on your desk as reminders of fun and inspiration for future romantic weekends!

Romantic Weekend Get-Aways in New England?
Help! I'd like to go away for a weekend, or even a mid-week trip with my boyfriend for our aniversary. We'd like to stay semi-local, we live in the Boston area. We're not going until September, but I love to plan early, any suggestions? (Neither of us ski, so being near the mountains would be nice, but not a deal breaker if we're not).
Looking for hotel and activity suggestions
Thanks!
